Ferguson protests continue after National Guard deployment
About 31 prisoners and two bullet wounds were the result in Ferguson, Missouri, in a new night of shootings on Monday.
After 10 pm, bottles and Molotov cocktails launches began against the police. The agents would have used tear gas and acoustic devices that emit painful sounds to disperse the protesters.
The shootings left two injured. The captain of the highway patrol, Ronald Johnson, responsible since Thursday for the security in the protests, said that it would not have been the police who shot, but someone in the crowd.
Among the 31 arrested, there are people from California and New York, said Johnson.
The unrest coincided with the first day on which the National Guard took to the streets of Ferguson.
The inhabitants of the area criticize that Darren Wilson, Police Officer of Ferguson who killed Michael Brown, is discharged with salary and not arrested.
Following this demand, the grievances of the African American community have begun to be in the debate, which holds that there is racism within the police force.
