Giant Encebollado will be prepared at Ñuka Mikuna festival in Guayaquil

Ñuka Mikuna, a Quechua phrase meaning Our food, will be the name of a gastronomic festival that will be held next July in the Acoustic Shell of Samanes Park, in the north.
This festival will have representatives from different provinces within the Made in Ecuador initiative.
Chef and chefs from the Coast, Sierra and Amazon will be in one place to highlight our identity, our flavors, says chef Tomás López, organizer of the gastronomic event.
Ñuka Mikuna will be dedicated to the presentation and tasting of innovative culinary recipes hand in hand with promises of the art of Ecuadorian gastronomy, accompanied by renowned national and international chefs who have been invited.
The organizers said that as part of the activity will be ‘the largest encebollado in the world’.
The event will highlight the preparation of typical dishes with national inputs so that attendees can see the importance of using local products.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to meet international cultures: Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile, Dominican Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Spain. (I)
