Government guarantees compliance with biosecurity protocols in export products
The Ministry of Production, Foreign Trade, Investments and Fisheries ratified compliance with the biosecurity protocols for export products, especially in the food segment, both in national and international regulations.
This in reference to the notification of the General Administration of Customs of China about the detection of traces of covid-19 in a container of frozen pomfret from an Ecuadorian company.

According to Mipro, there is currently experience in audits of compliance with biosafety protocols, which are activated to ensure that products for human consumption meet quality and safety standards. Therefore, exports have not stopped, despite the pandemic.
The National Government certifies the openness to address the concerns that are transmitted by the control authorities inside and outside the country, in order to guarantee the safety and biosecurity of the food exported from our country. Likewise, it confirms the good relations with the main commercial partners.
