Government will seek international help to resolve cases of missing persons in Ecuador
The government pledged to try to resolve the cases of missing persons in Ecuador with the help of international experts, during a six-hour meeting, on March 5, between President Rafael Correa and relatives of the missing persons.
That international assistance, according to Minister of Justice Ledy Zúñiga will come from forensic anthropologists of Colombia and Venezuela to strengthen the researchs that are already underway.
While the public defender, Ernesto Pazmiño, did not rule out that the assistance from the police of London, Scotland Yard, can be requested tocontinue the search operations for missing persons.
Family members were satisfied with this meeting and requested to the authorities greater speed because there are cases of people who have been mission from five to ten years, and the investigations are still not closed.
