Guayaquil continues demanding for freedom of expression

Last Thursday in the city of Guayaquil a new “planton” for the freedom of expression and democracy was held in the San Francisco Square.

This call brought together “outraged” citizens due El Universo Newspaper case, which faces a millionaire trial of his three directors and its former columnist, Emilio Palacio.

“Let’s Break the Chains” and “For the Freedom” were some of the slogans that the protesters shouted, demanding the rights of freedom of the press.
