Guayaquil inhabitants suffer dramatic moment on a plane near Tababela

Last Saturday the passengers of 1506 flight of LAN airline, which came from the Jose Joaquin de Olmedo Airport in Guayaquil to the Mariscal Sucre Airport in the town of Tababela, Quito, suffered of intense anxiety and despair just before landing because of high winds that made the aircraft shake and forced the return to the coastal city.

Several passengers reported the incident, in which one of the passengers allegedly had a serious health problem and there was even a claim of a possible cardiac arrest.

A traveler who requested anonymity told: “I do not know exactly what was said, they said it was a strike, a convulsion, (…) he was given first aid and had to return to Guayaquil…”

The traveler also added that “the plane turbulence was terrible, like a movie, it was like a hammock and turned aside (…) people panicked, children and adults screaming, people crying…”

Ecuadorian actress Carolina Jaume, was also on the flight, and through her Twitter account, called it the worst of his life: “thank God we are alive. I’ve never been on a flight so turbulent and with so many misfortunes! It was horrible! :(“
