Taximeter becomes effective in 60 days

The Transit Commission of Ecuador (CTE), starts today in downtown streets ” 9 de Octubre” and  “Boyacá” a campaign to use the taximeter, led by Colonel Luis Lalama.

The taxi service users will be given a flyer in order to emphasize the importance of using the taximeter to a more equitable rate.

The National Transit Agency (ANT) reported that taxi drivers have 60 days to comply with these rules.
