Guillermo Lasso says he will take care of the votes with 40 thousand people watching over the polling stations

Guillermo Lasso toured yesterday the Bastion Popular neighborhood, along with his wife, Maria de Lourdes Alcivar, and the CREO candidates for legislators who represent the four districts of Guayas.
The presidential hopeful said that he does not trust the National Electoral Council (CNE), and for that reason, his party will create a control system of more than 40 thousand people, in each electoral precinct of the country.
“Through a modern system of data transmission, that information, the copy of the report, will come to our computer central to control the votes and avoid an electoral fraud,” he said.
When consulted on a supposed invitation from the ruling party candidate Lenin Moreno to discuss his proposal to eliminate taxes, Lasso denied it but assured he would have no problem in debating.
