“Happy Meal” Toys Could Be Banned

Posted On 20 Dec 2010

Monet Parham, Californian mother of two children, sued McDonald’s, to prohibit the toys from the “Happy Meal”.

The mother argues that the toys attached to the product encourage children to eat junk food, which is harmful for their health.

McDonald’s should represent a limited part of feeding of the children, Parham believe.

The lawsuit was filed in a court of San Francisco and has the support of the organization Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI).
