Humanitarian Crisis in Homs Due to the Bombings

Fear grows in the city of Homs, due to the approaching humanitarian catastrophe, with demonstrators saying that the lack of food and water is as threatening as the violence.
This Wednesday a heavy shelling was reported in Homs neighborhood of Bab Amr, this marks the 19-day of bombings. Many people have abandoned their homes in fear of being bombed too.
Dozens of people died last Tuesday as the Syrian government forces bombings intensified in Homs.
Homs Revolutionary Council recently reported a shortage of medicine, and said that a large number of killed civilians perished under the rubble of buildings damaged during the bombings. (AV)
