IACHR request for the death of a Waorani

The Ecological Action group submitted a request for the update of precautionary measures to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (CIDH), before the latest clash recorded on January 25 between the Taromenane and Waorani indigenous communities, in which Caiga Lincaye was killed and his wife Tweñeme was injured.

The couple of Waorani nationality was located by the tribes (peoples in voluntary isolation) in the Shiripuno River, in Pastaza.
