Impugnations promise delayed delivery of election results
According to a report by the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym), there are six provinces with irregularities in their Provincial Electoral Boards and so far there have been nine objections from parties and movements, which call for the opening of the polls to conduct a vote per vote counting.
There are three impugnations in Morona Santiago, one in Bolivar, one in El Oro, one in Los Rios, one in Pichincha and two in Guayas, which are being analyzed by the CNE.
PSP denounced electoral fraud in Guayas
A delegation from the Partido Sociedad Patriotica (PSP) gave Mayra Gallegos, president of the Electoral Board of Guayas, 15 pages with information from records of 741 polling stations (JRV for its Spanish acronym) of the district in April, in which numerical inconsistencies were detected.
Honorio Santistevan, PSP delegate to the CNE, said the party asked to open the polls and start counting votes “over a clear and obvious election fraud.”

Honorio Santistevan
Santistevan said that in his data center, the votes recorded in the records of those entered in the polling station, were compared to the official website results. “It was found that on the CNE web site, signatures of the president and secretary of each JRV do not match to those contained in the registers that we were granted in each table.”
According to Santistevan, there is an average difference of 50 votes in the 741 registers. “We are being stolen two seats … Luis Almeida (assembly candidate of District 4) is being left out. ”

Honorio Santistevan camplained in the Electoral Board of Guayas.
PSP analysis reveals that the inconsistencies would be in 19 of the 21 cantons that make up District 4. Naranjito and Bucay are the only ones where no irregularities were found.
Gallegos said that this claim will be treated in time. “We will answer … but we have not started with the scrutiny of the district 4 yet“.
Furthermore militants of Alianza PAIS such as Gaston Gagliardo, minimize the complaint and ensure that everything is just a show and that their desperation is because they have less seats every time.
Other political groups:
The alliance Partido Social Cristiano – Madera de Guerrero (PSC-MG) reported that they detected other 725 national assembly records whose results do not match those admitted to the CNE.
The Electoral Delegation of Pichincha welcomed the impugnation of eight records presented on last Friday by the CREO candidate, Andres Paez, and proceeded to open polls.
