John Paul II closer to holiness

It is only necessary that Pope Francisco announced the decree in which it is recognized a second miracle to late Pope John Paul II, so he can become holy.

One year after having declared the Polish pope as Blessed, a commission of cardinals of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in the Vatican, was responsible for approving yesterday the attribution  of unexplainable event, which is a key step for canonization.

The tentative date for this appointment would be December 8 of this year, when the Catholic feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated.

An official confirmed the reports published by the daily La Stampa that John Paul II could be canonized along with Pope John XXIII, who convened the Second Vatican Council, but died in 1963 before it was finalized.
