Jorge Glas will not apologize for the tribulations of his thesis

Lenin Moreno and Jorge Glas
The academic committee of the Espol ruled that the thesis of the current vice president of Ecuador, Jorge Glas Espinel, along with Luis Raul Calle Gomez is “professional valid“, but because they “have not done the appropriate references in the texts included in their work,” both should apologize to the university. However, upon taking office, Glas said it was a “closed issue” and would not comment on any decision taken by the Espol.
Among the commission’s findings they recommend Glas and Calle would have to write separate letter to the principal, “in which they apologize to the institution by negative public exposure which directly has been subjected for not making appropriate referrals in these articles.”
The comments were recently made by the new vice president during his possession in a joint press conference with the former Vice President Lenin Moreno, which Glas indicated that not only will he lead the productive matrix change as the regime leader, Rafael Correa, ordered, but also carry on withthe Manuela Espejo Mission, the social program that was developed and promoted by Moreno, which focuses on helping people with special abilities. Taking advantage of the present media, Glas added that now the Manuela Espejo program will be institutionalized in the vice presidency. “In this new era is a compromise: the Manuela Espejo Mission will continue until the end,” said Glas.
