Juan Manuel Santos walks alongside Rafael Correa the devastated area of Manta

Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos arrived around 10:00 today to the Air Base of Manta, and was received by his Ecuadorian counterpart Rafael Correa.
The Colombian president will make, according to his agenda, a tour around the devastated area of Manta, after the 7.8M earthquake of April 16.
After noon the Colombian president along with his Ecuadorian counterpart will give statements to the press.
A plane of the Colombian Armed Forces arrived today with 19 tons of humanitarian aid.
According to Edwin Pardo, military air attache of the Embassy of Colombia in Ecuador, they have delivered some 40 tons of aid from the northern neighboring country.
