KLM will travel daily from Guayaquil to Amsterdam
After two years doing three weekly flights, the Air France-KLM group increased since yesterday its international frequencies from Guayaquil and Quito to Amsterdam.
“The daily flight between Quito, Guayaquil and Amsterdam-Schiphol is KLM’s answer to the popularity of the direct route, by their customers, and the emergence of Ecuador as a tourist destination,” said the company in a statement.
This new provision to increase flights to the Dutch capital, consolidates directly the international presence of the Jose Joaquin de Olmedo airport and corroborates the international operation of the air terminal of Guayaquil.
The new daily connection to Amsterdam by KLM will departure from Quito at 17:35, and from Guayaquil at 20:20. On the return flights, the arrival time in Quito will be at 16:15, and to Guayaquil will be at 18:35.
