Companies wishing to benefit from the new reduced 30-hour working day, which is proposed in the Working Time Optimization and Unemployment Insurance bill, submitted last Wednesday by the Executive branch to the Assembly, shall demonstrate that their profits “have fallen” before the Ministry of Labor.
This is one of the six conditions of the new scheme of reduction of working hours which may extend to six months, renewable once only, according to Paragraph 3 of the bill to be discussed by the Workers Commission.
