LAN expands coverage in Quito – Baltra route

With an investment of $ 60 million, LAN Ecuador added an Airbus -319 with capacity for 144 passengers to its fleet, to expand its coverage in the Quito route – Baltra.

The morning of Tuesday, January 27 the route was opened at 06:55, and 11:30 in Guayaquil, the directors of the company participated in the blessing act of the plane, which will cover three weekly frequencies.

“With this aircraft we will mainly strengthen our Baltra Quito frequency,  but this will also boost Guayaquil because we will decompress the market. The flights that went from Quito to Baltra and passed through Guayaquil will be able to go straight, there will be more seats and offer to Guayaquil,” said Javier Macias, commercial manager of LAN Ecuador.
