Minister Serrano calls to strengthen security in the Americas

The Ecuadorian Interior Minister José Serrano, called this January 28 to strengthen multilateral cooperation on security in the Americas, with a greater exchange of information among the Governments of the continent and an emphasis on the preventive actions.
Serrano visited the headquarters of the Organization of American States (OAS) to give a speech to the Permanent Council of the organism on safety advances and challenges in Ecuador about the continent. “The biggest challenge for the citizens security of all countries of the Americas is consolidating a multilateral relationship that effectively allows us to not only share information but also act preventively with anti-criminal preventive intelligence,” he said.
