Lethal Levels of Radiation in Fukushima

According to a report from the company Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO), Fukushima nuclear power plant showed the highest levels of radioactivity since the quake that hit Japan on March 11. Radiation levels reached 10.000 millisievert in a pipe between one and two reactors, a lethal dose for humans.
The management of the Prime Minister Naoto Kan in the biggest nuclear crisis in the last 25 years has been questioned by several citizens, a survey revealed yesterday that 65% of the population calls for the resignation of Kan due to inefficiency.
Authorities also banned the sale of beef from the province of Tochigi, the fourth under this measure in less than a month.
