Lorca Starts Rebuilding
Posted On 19 May 2011
Some sectors of Lorca (Spain) resemble a ghost town since there is no activity in several streets. Now men and women dressed with green vests enter homes to start rebuilding their city.
In the street Mayor de Lorca, a line of firemen sat down in to regain their energy, one of them, Antonio saved the life of Naria Lucia Zunca, an Ecuadorian resident from the Tungurahua province. Zunca survived by remaining in a wall next to a closet, however she remained in shock, paralyzed by fear for a night and a day, until a concerned neighbor notified the firemen.
Meanwhile the streets are filled with people that are waiting vehicles to move their belongings to other cities. Many of the Ecuadorians that reside in the city are still scared. (AV)
