Maduro warns of “global uprising” if the US “touches Venezuela”

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, predicted this weekend a global insurrection of workers and peasants if imperialism, (United States), “touches Venezuela” directly or through “internal lackeys”.

“If to Venezuela someday imperialism, through its internal lackeys or directly, we will do something, it will occur a global insurrection of peasant, worker, popular, revolutionaries of the world”.

Maduro’s statements were given in the opening of a supermarket built near Caracas with Brazilian help to strengthen state food distribution and neutralize shortages.

“If Venezuela is touched someday Oh, God! Therefore, it is best peace and God will provide peace, love and life”, exclaimed after endorsing a statement in that sense from the leader of the Landless Movement Brazil (MST), João Pedro Stedile, visiting Venezuela.

“Maduro: I do not know why the right in Venezuela does not make like Cuban: leave now to Miami and leave us alone, that we, in our continent we will continue working, studying and building a free and socialist fatherland” added Stédile.
