Mafalda celebrates her 50th anniversary with an exhibition
Posted On 18 Sep 2014
Amid celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the most famous comic book in Latin America, Mafalda, Joaquín Salvador Lavado, the creator of the character better known as “Quino,” made his request that both Argentina and the world “move forward” and “we all live in peace,” during the opening of the exhibition that takes place in Buenos Aires.
Visitors of the exhibition can see a recreation of the daily life of Mafalda, plus various games in which they can fill comic strips. Quino will travel in October to collect the Prince of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities that was granted to him earlier this year.
