Today and tomorrow Guayaquil is divided between demonstrations in favor and against the government.

Each group requests rectifications to the government of Rafael Correa. Lawyers will protest on the ground floor of the provincial Court today at 10:00 and physicians, tomorrow at 17:00 at the 9 de Octubre Avenue, claiming respect for the free practice and laws that undermine their rights

For the realization of a referendum to amend the Constitution and the imposition of a socialist model, leaders of the Creating Opportunities movement (CREO) will protest, the same that will march from the Ferroviaria citadel and will arrive at 17:25 to the Malecon Simon Bolivar, through the 9 de Octubre avenue.

Retirees will insist on the return of the 40 percent of state contribution to the retirement pensions, with a sit-in at the social security venue.

The National Union of Educators (UNE) will protest to make the IESS return the Unemployment Fund for Teachers. labor unions and other social organizations will be grouped in the Centenario Park, protesting against the Labor Justice Act and a greater attention to the indigenous sector.

On the other hand, there are those who belong to the same social groups, but are in favor of the Government and respond to the call of Alianza País. The site of the concentration is unknown.
