Heaffirmed that “he suspects the real motivations he had to make a terrible mistake, error that must be brought to justice for lying under oath … It is totally inadmissible that this person (Angel Sagbay) who until recently not only requested and even demanded charges public, contracts, loans of money and others, now turns out to be the champion of transparency “.

Vicuña has held the vice presidency of Ecuador since January of this year, after the dismissal of jailed former vice president Jorge Glas.
