Michael Jackson’s Furnishings Will be Auctioned
The King of Pop Furnishings will be sold on the auction block in Beverly Hills this Saturday. The table of Jackson’s tranquilizers and the rug on which paramedics tried to revive him are among a few of the 500 items of fine art and home furnishing on sale.
Julien’s Auctions has been delicate not to call the event a Michael Jackson auction to avoid any legal and public relations complaints.
The chalkboard left in Jackson’ kitchen with the writings of his children months before he passed away will be auctioned too.
However Julien’s Auction Executive Director, Martin Nolan backed away from selling the bed in which Jackson received the fatal dose of propofol that killed. Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson requested that the bed was not sold. (AV)
