More drug has been seized from micro-traffikers in 2015

According to data from the Interior Ministry, from January to September, the Narcotics Police has taken off the streets 12.52 tons of various illicit substances. The figure is more than twice everything seized in 2014, which was 6.02 tons.
The most seized substance is marijuana (11.13 tons) and cocaine base paste in less proportion (1.30 tons). And so far 122 micro-trafficking organizations have been dismantled, reported the Interior Ministry.
Operations against international traffic also increased this year, with 6,367 actions, according to the police. The drugs seized, coupled with that of micro-trafficking, reaches 63 tons, 18 more than last year. While 6,852 people have been arrested.
