More women assume decision-making positions in Ecuador
In Ecuador, there are 62 companies that adhere to the Principles for the Empowerment of Women, which promotes gender equality in management areas.
Unacem Ecuador is one of the companies with these principles and it is precisely led by three women: Andrea Calderón, Patricia Garzón and Estefanía Espinosa.
Calderón works as Distribution and Dispatch coordinator in the company’s Logistics and Transportation Department. He is in charge of a team of six people and interacts daily with more than 200 transportation providers and 250 contractor drivers nationwide.
