In Galapagos, the first phase of vaccination against the coronavirus begins this Thursday. This event is marked by the insistence of the mayors of the country that a decree be issued transferring part of the health competencies so that the municipalities can buy vaccines directly from the laboratories and immunize their inhabitants.

The Cabinet Secretary of the Presidency, Jorge Wated, reiterated that the Government cannot delegate the task of vaccinating against the coronavirus, but if the municipalities have met the three requirements and have vaccine quotas, “we go with the MSP and we buy them ”.
On another issue, the report was approved for the second debate that contemplates abortion in cases of rape of girls and adolescents. Another issue that was discussed was the economic protection of parents: it did not take place to extend until 24 years.
