Moreno Among the 10 favorites for Nobel Peace Prize

According to the publication of the Norwegian magazine Aftenposten, Ecuador’s Vice President, Lenin Moreno appears among a  list of 10 candidates optioned to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

The list contains 231 candidates. The results about the favorites came from the bookmakers’ website Unibet of UK.

Among the reasons given for the nomination of Moreno, it is “because of the work he has done through the program “Ecuador sin Barreras”, which organize  campaigns promoting equal rights for people with disabilities in the American country.”

The final decision on the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize will be announced on October 12 (10:00am) at the Norwegian Nobel Peace Center, located in the bay of Oslo.
