MTA won`t allow the usage of “negative political advertising” in urban buses

The manager of the Municipal Transit Authority, Andres Roche, indicated this thursday that he would not allow the usage of “negative political advertising” inside or outside of the urban transportation units.

Roche also indicated that he ordered the Director of Operations in the MTA, General Luis Lalama, to retire from circulation the buses that expose negative advertising against Guillermo Lasso, candidate from the CREO-SUMA alliance.

He said that this thursday, the transporters were conscientious so that they don`t confuse the usage of electoral advertising with negative political campaign.  “It will only be allowed the usage of positive political advertising on the back part of the public tansportation units”, said Roche on Twitter, as he thanked the transporters because they accepted the MTA`s request.
