NCJ prepare clause for medical malpractice
Posted On 20 Mar 2014
The terms of the interpretative clause to article 146 of the Organic Comprehensive criminal Code (COIP), about the wrongful death by professional malpractice, will be defined, among several drafts, at the plenary session scheduled for next Wednesday. Thus, the President of the National Court of Justice (NCJ), Carlos Ramírez, announced it yesterday within the framework of an appearance before the Justice Committee of the Assembly.
Since last week, ten judges of the Criminal Chamber who were delegated this task made some drafts.
At the end of last January, a Committee of physicians agreed with the Executive that the Court issues a ruling on the crime of malpractice.
