Ochoa adds two more challenges in his candidacy for Superintendent
Former news director of TV network Gamatv, Carlos Ochoa, added two more challenges to his candidacy for Superintendent of Information.
This morning, CREO Assemblyman Andres Paez, presented to the full Board for Citizen Participation (CPC), documentation showing a supposed lack of suitability by Ochoa for the office due to not meet the requirement of ten years of experience. Also alleged that Ochoa has not proceeded with impartiality, neutrality and objectivity, when becomig a real government spokesman in sharp contrast to their charge, which was more political and militant journalism.”
Similarly, the citizen Néstor Napoleón Marroquín Carrera also presented another challenge against Ochoa. These these two new complains are added to those from assemblyman Abdala Bucaram Pulley (PRE) and Lourdes Tibán (Pachakutik) who presented the first two challenges each, past Tuesday.
WMaría Elena Aguirre and Wilman Sánchez, who do not register any objection are part of the triplet, proposed by President Rafael Correa, for the office of Superintendent of Information
