Olympic Torch Goes on the Wrong Way
The convoy carrying the Olympic Torch today from Nailsea to Bristol, in eastern England, took the wrong route in its fifth tour day around UK, which delayed the relief of the torch for ten minutes.
The flame began its journey at Bristol in the hands of Margaret Glastonbury, first of the 129 torch-bearers of the fifth day, with North Somerstet destination.
Later on, the torch traveled in convoy to the towns of Nailsea, Flax Bourton and Blackwell, said today the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG). (ARL)
