Ombudsman considers grounds against the NGO, but is concerned by the dissolution of Fundamedios

The Ombudsman, Ramiro Rivadeneira, defended the grounds that the Ministry of Communications (Secom) applied to start a process of dissolution against Fundamedios.
“I have not ruled on whether these grounds end up in a process of dissolution. What I am saying is that there are acts that certainly have political purposes and must be subjects of assessment by the Secom,” the authority said to reporters Tuesday night.
