Opposition requests the Comptroller General´s office to oversee the international travels of the Assembly members

A delegation of Assembly members of opposition parties have requested Comptroller Carlos Polit a special review of international travels of legislators of the National Assembly and how much they have spent. “It is a sensitive issue because legislators have mane many trips amid the crisis,” said legislator Antonio Posso, quoted by daily El Comercio.
Pepe Acacho (Pachakutik), also quoted by El Comercio, has complained of a “discrimination” by opposition legislators, who have not enjoyed “the privileges legislators of the ruling party have enjoyed like of doing tourism in different parts of the world.”
