It has already been five days without eating for the parents of Mejia School who claim reinstatement for all 68 students. The Ministry of Education says there are 26 resolutions, other reports are expected.
On the disciplinary proceedings, the Education Minister Augusto Espinosa, said last Thursday: “Even if their parents do hunger strike, even if they implore, there is no way of violating the regulations and, moreover, is part of the learning process.” He warned that sanctions could reach separation from campus.
