Defense Minister Ricardo Patino reported that this Thursday, March 24 the government will transfer $ 70 million to the Institute of Social Security of the Armed Forces (ISSFA).
“There was an announcement of the ISSFA that unsecured and mortgage loans would be suspended until 10 April. I have informed that these loans will not be suspended. There was a temporary problem of illiquidity in the ISSFA we’ve solved immediately. Today the ISSFA will receive State contributions for 70 million dollars so benefits are not suspended,” said Patino after meeting with President Rafael Correa in the Carondelet Palace.
