Patricio Pazmiño, head of the Constitutional Court, was elected judge of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IA Court HR) with 22 votes during the 45th meeting of the Organization of American States, in which four members of the IA Court HR and four members of the IACHR were renewed.
