Peace Conference to End ETA Terrorism

The final resolution of a peace conference celebrated in San Sebastian, Spain, incites the Basque terrorist group ETA to make a public declaration to cease with its terrorist activities.

The first point of the conference is to make ETA to cease their terrorist activities and talk with the Spanish and French governments to treat the reasons behind the conflict and reach an agreement.

Bertie Ahern, the former Ireland Prime Minister, explained that international experts attended the Palace of Aiete of San Sebastian. They believe the time is right to end with a conflict of more than 50 years and to achieve a lasting peace. (AV)
