Petroamazonas to drill 741 wells in blocks 31 and 43 of the Yasuni

This is Yasuni, a place that since 2016 has also contributed to the oil production of Ecuador, amidst questions from environmental groups, who on the verge of a referendum, reactivated the debate on the possibility of keeping the oil underground.
A six-meter-wide access route connects Puerto Miranda with the Tiputini Process Center in Block 43, located in the province of Orellana. There, Minister of Hydrocarbons Carlos Perez said that activities are developed with the least possible impact on the ecosystem, in accordance with the Environmental Impact Study.
