An approximate amount of $ 5.13 million will be allocated by the Petroamazonas company in the remainder of the year, for the execution of 27 infrastructure works , through the Community Relations Program .

According to the planning, this item will be destined to the execution of eight sanitation works, one for health, six recreational, seven productive, one electrification, two mobility and two education , which will benefit about 17,500 residents of the provinces of Orellana, Sucumbíos, Napo and El Oro .
The General Manager of Petroamazonas EP, Juan Carlos Bermeo , reported that in the period from January to June 2020, the company “invested more than $ 1.6 million in the construction of 10 community infrastructure projects in its areas of direct influence, to improve the quality of life of the populations and boost the local economy ”.
He added that it is expected that the remaining 17 programmed projects will be executed in the coming months , to which resources of $ 3.5 million will be allocated .
Tony Angulo, representative of Asopriabet, pointed out that these infrastructure works strengthen the activities of his enterprise, on which dozens of families in the area depend. He highlighted the support of Petroamazonas EP and agricultural technicians who contributed in the harvesting, post-harvest, promotion, and product sales processes .
Angulo is one of the beneficiaries of the delivery of a Coffee and Cocoa Promotion and Marketing Center , located in the El Dorado parish , Orellana province (area of influence of Block 61, Auca).
Petroamazonas carries out similar projects in 349 communities in its areas of influence in the provinces of Sucumbíos, Orellana, Napo and El Oro.
At the moment, work has been done on the components of community health , education , training, cultural revaluation, self-management , productive projects, community infrastructure , equipment, Human Rights , and corporate social responsibility .
