The Social-Christian (PSC) and Sociedad Patriótica (SP) parties have been the only ones that have so far defined their support for the CREO-SUMA presidential candidate, Guillermo Lasso, in the case of the second round of voting.
The other organizations that participated in the elections have not yet defined their support for Lasso or Lenin Moreno, the candidate of the Alliance PAIS party.
Representatives of some of these groups said they were waiting for the National Electoral Council (CNE) to conclude the vote counting.
Through press releases or via telephone, the representatives of Fuerza Ecuador (FE), Abdalla Bucaram Pulley; Democratic Center, Jimmy Jairala; Ecuadorian Union, Washington Pesántez; and Fuerza Compromiso Social, Iván Espinel, said they would pronounce after the official results.
Likewise, they indicated that they would first be pending of what happens in the CNE these days, and then they will meet with their supporters to review the proposals and define their support for one of the two finalists.
Espinel said they expect a meeting with the national bureau to make a decision.
