Protests over the Odebrecht corruption case arrived yesterday at the Attorney General’s Office. Amid cries and raising banners against corruption, members of Unidad Popular, CREO and Concertación demanded Attorney General Carlos Baca to link Vice President Jorge Glas and former President Rafael Correa to the investigations.
For Geovanni Atarihuana, of Unidad Popular, those in charge are not those who are now detained, as he believes that they did not have the power to sign contracts. He said that those who should be linked are Correa and Glas, because their government policies facilitated acts of corruption (I).
