Pope Francis said today that it is intolerable that “financial markets govern the fate of the people”. In addition, he invited the governments around the world to commit to develop an international framework to promote social investment.
These were the words of Bergoglio during the conference “Investing in the poor”, promoted by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.
