Pozo proposes use of social networks to spread election issues

pozoJuan Pablo Pozo, Member of the National Electoral Council (CNE in its Spanish acronym), launched through social media aproposal to interact with the public. His proposal is the hashtag # AlacenaPolitica.

Pozo hopes to answer through his Twitter account @ JuanPabloPozoB electoral concerns to the public. He explained he will propose each week topics of interest to the public regarding democracy in Ecuador. On this occasion, he will address the successful experience of electronic voting, of the past local elections.

According to the Counsellor of the CNE, this space will be a tool for inclusion. Pozo said “the views and concerns in each of the issues will be essential to the work of CNE throughout the national territory and will contribute to the country throughdemocratic, transparent and equitable processes.”
