President criticizes mail sent by Captain Ortega
President of the Republic, Rafael Correa, said this Saturday September 3, 2016, that the mail sent by Captain Edwin Ortega “is a retrograde political manifestation”.
He referred to the communication in which the official mentioned several topics, including: “the attempt to divide the Armed Forces misinforming at the “Sabatinas”, hostessing withdrawal, wastage media, delivery of military colleges and naval high schools to the Ministry of Education, closing attache, the project of Book IV, acceptance of the FARC as a conflictive group but not as terrorists, officers, soldiers, sailors and PPNN judged for crimes against humanity for attacks against human rights when there was the AVC terrorist, that the military hospitals passed to the public health system”, says the Citizen.
“This communication is extremely serious because the military are obedient and not deliberating,” said the head of state during his Saturday program.
From Puellaro, parish of Quito, the president said that health and education are responsibilities of the state and the military “should not drive companies except those belonging to the defense.”
