President Daniel Noboa promises to break cycles of revenge
In a 7 and a half minute speech, the President of the Republic, Daniel Noboa, reviewed what he has experienced during this electoral year, in which “few thought he had a chance,” until he managed to win the elections .
“For the good of Ecuador and because I have a renewed and young vision, I threw myself into the presidency without hesitation.”

During his first message to the Nation, Noboa made a reflection, although without mentioning anyone specifically: “Those who see politics as a reality of extremes and revenge will not have popular support.”
The president insisted that he is “ a free and pragmatic man who empathetically seeks to improve the lives of Ecuadorians.”
“I believe in the strength of youth and many will find it difficult to pigeonhole me into old political or ideological paradigms.”
Daniel Noboa.
Noboa maintained that he believes in a State, whose first objective ” is to reduce violence and make progress a habit.”
“I believe in Ecuador, in change, and in its future”

Noboa winked at the new Assembly in that call for change. He thanked the legislators who have joined this trend. “This change that the country requires clearly has a sense of urgency.”
He recalled that he and his family “ have experienced political persecution over time by different governments and, despite not forgetting the bad times experienced, I feel the obligation to put my country first and break this cycle of revenge.”
And he insisted that “I am not anti-anything, but rather pro-Ecuador. For many, this is difficult to understand and the reality of these results simply prevails.” And he assured that the citizens voted for a new Ecuador.
“I grew up alongside my mother’s social service and my father’s political struggle. I traveled throughout Ecuador many times since I was a child… I have achieved academic, professional and political success.”
Daniel Noboa.
The new president ended his brief message by assuring that youth is synonymous with strength and not naivety . He said that he was very clear that: “to combat violence we must attack unemployment, the country needs employment and to generate it we will send economic reforms to the Assembly that must be treated responsibly and thinking first of the country.”
“I ask for your support, the anti has a ceiling and the pro has infinite,” he said and asked to leave behind the old political schemes to solve the great problems of Ecuador.
“The task is hard and difficult and the days are few. “Let’s get to work and get to work”
