Public servants complain that they can not receive loans from the IESS

Carlos Cardenas is a public employee public and on Monday June 13, 2016 he tried to get an unsecured loan in the IESS. He followed step by step the conditions required by the Institute’s computer system to access this benefit, but failed to achieve it. The application was rejected because his employer, ie the State, is in default with the institution.
Assemblywoman Cristina Kronfle ensures that all public officials, including legislators, can not access this benefit.
According to the president of the Federation of Public Servants Miguel Garcia, the state owes the to Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security about two months of the employer contribution, which corresponds to 9.5% of the employee´s salaries.
