Randi Zuckerberg Leaves Facebook to Fund her Own Company

Facebook founder’s sister, Randi Zuckerberg, who was the marketing director  for Facebook, submitted her letter of resignation to start her own media company RtoZ Media.

“I’ve spent my years in Facebook pouring my heart and my soul to innovate and push media forward. We’ve made incredible progress but there’s still much to do and there are other ways that I can participate in that change,” said Mark Zuckerberg’s sister in her letter. “Now is the perfect time for me to leave and start a company focused on the exciting trends that are happening in the media industry,” she added.

The social network accepted her resignation and thanked her for her years of service.
